dannys mk3

well here goes thought i would start a nice fresh post.

brought the mk3 of a member on here and with a with a few changes its how I want it.
my changes are smoothed tail gate
twin lights
blacked out side repeters
blacked out lights
cobra bucket seats
boot build

it also still has the mods which where done befor such as
coilovers
some alloys but no sure what they are
ripspeed steaing wheels

thats about it i will put some pickys up later

im hoping to splash alot of cash in a few monthes my planes are.
sell the coilovers and get some brand spankers
i have got 10mm spacers on the back but no phat enough so im gonna get some 20mm ones and put the tens on the front
polish the lips on the wheels and sprayed the centras gloss black or a creamy colour. swop the vents on the bumper to blacked out lights
it is still abit scabby here and there so im gonna get dat done
put red bonnet back on
and dats about it realy

then if it stays a fairly godd motor to me its gonna have the 1.4 16v which are 100bhp put it on a webber carb and a 5 speed box that should do me nicely

Do you own a camera?

the 1.4 16v is injection so I don't understand why you would want to ditch that for a single webber carb?

The car is fast enough anyway for a first time driver... If driven properly can hold its own with mk3 8v GTI's and mk3 Vr6's.... Remember that day lads? lol

Nah that was later in the day after the drive shaft broke lol

yeah remember that day but whos car went home on the back of a aa truck lol but respect to the 1.4 did well for the first 3 hours of the day lol

Yea it got a thrashing that day

its not quick enough for me might be with a 5 speed but you find your self flat out in fourth and feel like u need enougher gear. new engine suspesion cuz personaly i think it can handel alot better then it does and get rid of that tack steering wheel that thing realy pisses me off

It would be better with a 5th gear...

yer it revs out to quick when your doing about 80 its revving its arse of thats when it needs a 5th been looking for one swainy had his but keeps popping out of 5th so i dont want dat lmao

mine revs at about 3/4 in 6th gear doin 60 lol

my 205 revs at 4000 at 60 haha

tops out at about 95mph

but gets there damn fast

got offord to swop my wheels yesterday. my wheels for a set of rh cups with a polished lip im sure iv seen them wheels on summets else but i cant think what lol not gonna do the swop as im likeing the look of mine just need a good polish

iv swoped my wheels for some rh cups gonna try them on tomorrow see what i think im gonna spray them black i think

you're the third person on here to have those cups lol

lol they get passed around a bit. do come with wheel spacers but im think im right to say that they gudder alot with them on so not gonna put them on i will put some pickys up to moz to show you what they look like dont think the white will go with my car thow

you'll need spacers and spigot rings mate cos they came off a corsa before i had them

oright well looks like i am having spacers on then lol dont wanna sound thick but what are spigot rings lol

plastic rings that go in the centre of the wheel to make the hole the same size as the hub.

i think it will have some as the lad i got them off had them on his mk2 if not they aint dear are they??
