Work Done on Head inc gas flowing
New cambelt

still thinking about it mate but the head needed a rebuild asap, thinking of buying another car to become my silly project and the golf then can become my daily. I kinda of like the idea of a 2.0L 16v turbo caddy Twisted Evil

right got it back just got a few little probs:

i need a new manifold and we had to drill the stud out where it joins to the downpipe but now it aint sealing great so is blowing a little,

next the car needs a rolling roads session to set it all up properly so its booked in for the second of jan,

and last but not least it pops and farts like a right one which is fun ut could uase a ASBO and its gone and blown all the muffling out of the stainless system LOL so got get that sorted under warranty

here some pics anyway:

Not done much recently except fitting a mk2 16v front splitter as the duckbill keeps breaking ( gonna save the duckbill for shows ).

Fitted a piper vernier pulley to help with the setup.

Had the car rolling road setup but found i have the wrong dizzy fitted so got to find one of them but it still made 135bhp at the wheels which is about 162bhp at the flywheel, and aint loud anymore as we found it was running so retarded so looking forward to having the correct dizzy and more power

And finally iv now got a slightly different filler cap which i hope you like ( looks better in the flesh ).

looking good dude i have exactly the same bonnet bra as you,
have you had any trouble with it lifting at speed? if not how have you managed to keep the middle of it down?

think the fuel cap is nice and subtle

right guys today iv had to have a new exhuast as im moving to belgium on sat and my exhuast would have got me hung due to the noise it put out so i went to see Fin at dynoflow and wow what a service, check out the pics and see how well made it is.

soundwise i told him to make it quite so it aint to loud but iv gotta be sensible for once, you can still hear that its cammed up and it still pulls like a train.
