i always used to do them by ear mate, loosen it off , move it til its runnin sweet.

As Beese said mate. That's the way I do em until I got chance to pass my Dad's workshop then I pinch the strobe gun and check em and I'm not usually far out! Have a play about and you will find the the sweet spot!
