Adi is back with another dub!

I said a fond farewell to the ibiza today, for those who don't remember, it was this beast..



Swapped it today with a 94 Vento 2litre GL on coilies, with full stainless exhaust, full electrics and nasty 17" wheels

Now minus the gay grille, chav plates and has tinted fogs and a VR splitter

had another bit of bad luck last night, the 3rd car in a row for me has fooked a gearbox, and spilt its oil all over the road, so today on the search for another gbox, can anybody help me find one?

my car's a 2 litre GL, so will it be the same box as found in the mk3 golf gti? also what's the code for it?

its all good slim, texted royston this morning, and if another person tells me I can't drive I'm gonna turn into the hulk!

I've had a lot of dubs, but this is the 1st one to ever leave me stranded before

Seeing as I had all the bits to get my punto working again, I took that to a garage yesterday to have it's gearbox, and turbo fitted, and I plumbed up my sexy new front mount intercooler too, so all being well I'l have that to drive while i search for a new gearbox for the vento.

hulk??? lol i wont say u cnt drive then...... but u do know what that clutch pedal is for tho dont ya??? lol!!! bet the punto goes well now,i it a bigger turbo?

i use the clutch in the correct manner

the punto isnt gonna be done till late tomorrow now

standard turbo for now, its good for up to 180bhp anyhow and spools up quick

a geeze on golfgti.co.uk is floggin the whole 2.0 lump with gearbox etc for £100... maybe you could get him to split??? or get the lot till you blow the engine up... lol...

after 3 months of a certain garage messing me about, i should be picking her up tomorrow. Then I gotta get her MOT'd and back on the scene.

This is how I last saw it...

well now she's home I've given her a clean, most MOT related things seem ok, had to re-attach the splitter as the gargae ripped it off, and also had to get the weighted shifter rod as the garage kindly lost the original 1, all in all its been a disaster there!

But I'm just glad to have it home and I forgot how great coilovers are! And the popping from the exhaust... mmmmmmmmmm

has any1 on here tried tinting their headlights?

I've heard of people putting their headlights in the oven to melt the glue off the lens and spraying the insides the gluing the front back on, has any1 on here done it?

I think my vento would look awesome with tinted headlights

my bro got some spray from halfords i think and did the clear bit on his back lights and they aint to bad

I don't mean tint the lens man, i mean spray the chrome bit inside black

Surely ull fook the headlight if you do that and fail the mot as itll be like a candle
