| go for it mate,if u just want a strip,i have some vwwold stickers left,£1 each so not too bad! what size rims u got now? if u are getting those exact rims then i reckon u could drop it upto 80mm wihout issues, but get a couple of the more experienced mechanically minded off here o confirm that! | |

| I'd say it'll go down 80mm without issues just depends of the offset (ET) of the wheels. My old BBS wheels were 6.5jx14 and ET45 with 185/60/14 tyres and rubbed a bit near 80mm down. I now run Golf GTI steels and GTI teardrops which are 6jX14 ET38 with 195/45/14 tyres and they just tuck under the standard arch, the only rubbing I've had is the sump, subframe and chassis rails on the floor if it gets a little uneven minly cause I dropped it so low and have raised it since! If the rub there's a few people about who can roll your arches etc to clear. I think with 15s you should be ok. Hope this helps! Ask Jamie F on here If he is still selling his coilovers as they are nearly new! | |

| you aint gonna get 80mm on that tyre size, my old mk2 was lowered 80mm on 195/45/15s and i still had to roll the rear arches. | |
