My mk2 1.8 Gl

I'll be going to pick up my first vw tonight it's a mk2 1.8 Gl with power steering electric windows and central locking, its a big bumper 5 door in black and apparently only 80k on the clock, me chimp and tom are setting off at 5 on a 300 mile round trip to go collect it lol, will be back around midnight with photos of the car and the journey there and back,

After a 6 and a half hour journey to go collect it we finally made it home,

first job's to get sorted is to fit the new centre pipe that came with it and redo the front brakes with new pad's and disk's, then just need to find somewhere to get my bonnet resprayed cheap, any of you guy's know were i should go ,

Ask Hardcor3 about the bonnet he is a bodywork bloke.
Get Toms grill off him tonite man will look the bollox then man.
I will give you a bell after work and we will have to meet up for some photos. Get a few of the other lads out aswell

woooo just had the tire explode on the way to work that was fun, and then found out my car aint got anything to get the tire of with, but thanks to tom its all sorted lol,
tomorrow me and tom going to replace the middle pipe because its blowing like mad and hopefully get the 4 lamp grill on,
and i might even have time for a proper clean

getting the sound system started now,

putting the subs out of my old megane in



and started installing a screen into the dash soon to be wired into a computer, no more cd's lol



still needs finishing off but half way there

I will take you wires for your install out of my car tomorrow cuz i think they maybe causin my headunit to keep cuttin out on me

ya i only just sprayed it so see were i needed to sand down, for the minute im just using an old laptop till i get a new job, then ill be spending some money on one of those carputer things lol

well iv had fun tonight started doing the new sub boxes finishd it all then rearlised it was 4 cms to big and wouldn't fit.... Gutted, so shaved a bit off the edges and now they fit..... sort of lol, should have them fixed in and wired up 2moz, as well as giving it a gd clean since iv had tom and ben round tonight complaining they cant see there reflection in it,

bet thats gonna thump when its all wired up! looking good bud!
