Sound like the CF! There's a lot of people on there who take things WAY too seriously! Dont get me wrong it's a great place for information and parts, but unless your in the clik it can be pretty cold

sorry fella, I've just seen your post on the CF, didn't know that valvers didn't have carbon canisters. Sounds like you should be able to remove that plate though and have a cold air feed.

cheerz dude,done n dusted,plate was easier to break off than opening foil lol! used the snorkel,bodged something off an old vr6 onto it and it fits snug in the hole,bored out the holes id drilled and hey presto it works and sounds pretty good!

didnt take any pics,the weather has been a bit kack so ended up doin it inbetween showers! oh and thats something else valvers didnt get,brake ducts!!lol

I thought all early cars came with brake ducts, it was only late models that didn't. Do you have the cut out in your arch liner?

didnt notice it tbh,the hole was just below the airbox.doesnt look like there is much on the inner wing side tbh!? will have another look 2mo!

Should be a rectangular hole on the plastic inner arch if it has them fitted.
