Yer I'm quite happy with the repair. I fixed it together with a thin piece of ally on the bottom, ground the screws off and filled the crack.
Only problem is that it's smooth where i've filled it and the rest of it has the rougher finish Very Happy

well ive done my eyebrow and im not happy with it in red so its going black! on a mission for some silicon hoses now as i burst one on the tour n altho we bodged it and it did the tour,it went again monday,bodged it again but i am running out of pipe to cut off.brittle as u like so its gotta be done! other than that its mot time soon so no doubt it will be a nitemare!! oh and the borbs are coming off and my spare rims on,just sorting them out,they aint going on as they are as they are battered!!! Wink

hello mate,thanks for the kind words! i have uprated standard fit speakers.in the dash i have some pioneer tweeters,doors have alpine type-s i think,will have to have a look,and the rears are jbl 6x4's or whatever the standard ones are. sounds ok tho,does the job for me! get some pics up of ures mate!

im out mabo way,theres a few local but the majority are further afield,boston,lincoln and skeggy are the main places.we have a monthly meet at the haywain pub at ulceby cross roundabout,usually the 1st sunday of the month! how similar are we talking,u got the same rims?

cool im litterally just up the road legbourne, suprised aint seen ya driving about when i been beach racing mabo every other weekend. . nah got 17" bbs rx, jetex stainless to cat exhaust, lupo wipers, badless grill, black badge, short aeriel, windows tints, pioneer with ipod interface etc il c if can come to to haywain some time

well a small update really. re-painted the eyebrow as i really werent feeling the red,so its now black magic pearl like the bonnet. dropped it again so another 10mm with no scrubs,as yet!! did some miles over the weekend and never had any problems. trying to get the borbs off for a refurb,but i need something half decent to run it on,so im having a play with another set of rims,now i have enuff time to do em. new wold sticker on the back end,new dipstick sleeve of ebay after we broke the other one during the pipe incident on the tour,really should fit the new pipe aswell but the old one has been bodged and shortened and is holding for now,if its not broke!!lol!!

after the rims im not sure,show season is basically done after players,maybe some paint but who knows!!! cha ching!

I hate to say it mate but I reckon you should go for a change of rimmage for next show season, Borbet As are awesome rims, but very common now, I reckon they should make way for some 15" splits....

borbs aint going nowhere unless i get offered some th modernlines with the stick out face! otherwise i think i will be refurbing the borbs for next season!as for 15's no offence but u really wold have to twist my arm,briggs-e's are the nicest bbs i have seen personally,and they cost!!! the ones that were the same but not custom where a bit too boring for me and i cant afford to go mad! paint for the new season i think!
