| ive been thinking, why are the shims better than a steel washer? surely being able to switch thickness of the washer which is made from metal and is more sturdy? i know its frowned upon but i reckon its probably a safer stronger way of doing it,espcially when metal flat against metal would be strong enuff???? im waffling but i know what i mean?! | |

| Id rather have a shim machined from metal at the correct angle with bolt holes drill in the correct places but I'm fussy! | |

| i dont personaly c a problem with running a washer BUT thats me and i do alot of things i probalby shouldnt lmao, like u said slim its still metal to metal as long as teh bolts long enough it should b alright, the base of a shim is only about 2 mm wider than the top so thats barely any distance realy, but if u want ill pm the guy with the solid metal shims c were he got um made | |

| please mate, ive asked g-werks about them aswell,£17.50 posted a pair but im not sure if they are the metal ones or not?! i just seems that a tiny sliver of metal would still be stronger when packed tight against the hub? i dunno i know its not safe or whatever just cant see why?! | |

| I'd never just wanna rely on the shear force of a few bolts! | |
