yeah im planning a full respray after xmas she will bve goin down essex for it to a good friend of mine , i not got the seats sorted out yet but im gonna add me own little touch to them over the winter once i find the right material gonna get me a sowing machine and do it myself and see what i can come up with im so looking forward to getting all my bits and trying new stuff lol

even better if ya got friend to prep & paint it for ya , save you some wonga, As for seats may know someone who may help with the material. he,s a upholster by trade. Specialises in older cars.

i will let ya no if i need some material mate but im plannin to be a bit different and use what i can find to add my own little touch if i dont then i will pm ya
ahh it wont save me money goin to my mate but i no im gonna get a good job done by going to him

new clutch cable
head gasket has now gone
also next week should be getting new tyres but got a little surprise in store my own personal touch to the car prob do it next month :-)

right jetta update

she now has a brand new carpet that would have cost a firtune but i got it for free as newton commercials wanted a mk1 jetta to use for amould and i got a free carpet out of it ,
stripping down my engine in the next few weeks and gonna get it running nice decided to have a attempt at all the work myself and as little help as possible ,
new wheels are comin in a few months time too

the carpet is sweet i cant belive u got it for nothing and in the red aswell

she is now of the road due to oil leak so this week she is havina new sump , new brakes all round, two front wheel bearings , then the headgasket being done and then the little jobs that need doing

the sump is now off the car and its got a lovely big hol ein it lol , got the new one turning up tomorrow and saturday is the day for putting my car back together

new sump now fittd along with my oil filter , waiting for new points to turn up , the car still runs its not damamged the engine yay

glad its not dead! still no pics???

thanks peeps just cannot believe how lucky i was to get it for free totally shocked so ok i soend 45 quid on fuel gettin there and a whole day out and loads of money spent on shopping but certainly worth it .
