im in the middle of purchasin her atm so this is gettin ahead of meself..but....shes burgundy flat paint cross hair head lights smoiked repeaters rover seat in frnt partially boarded out has alloys and also original steelies engine just been rebuilt cant remember for the life of me wot size it is...shes a van atm plans are to turn it into a camper....watch this space...will get a foto tomoro

finally after approx 15 minutes waitin for foto bucket heres some fotos of me t25

the pics of the rims are to demonstrate wot she got as she has both sets in full so i dunno whether to get the alloys polished or to clean up and paint the steelies and repolish the hubcaps...im leanin towards the hub caps....as u can see my xhair headlights and me smoked repeaters....think im gonna have 2 bullseye windows in the rear quarters i think and i definatly want a pop top...shes partially boarded inside but has been used as the blokes shed for a while he's clearin it out this weekend so i can then get some fotos inside....can i fook remember wot the engine is ....i think its a 1.6...he says it was 69hp and he's put a bigger carb on to make her 79 hp but tom would no more bout that stuff then me

that looks familiar... cant remember whose it is though. used to be on fl4tlanders a lot til i fell out with one of them!!!

how much you payed then?

they go for quite a bit taxed and tested?

if it's the single carb air cooled twin port 1600 it'll have 40hp standard, be geared for steady acceleration with about 65-70 top. if it's running the bigger carb it'll be around 45hp with the standard exhaust.

i got a bargain got it off him for 500 after just avin an engine rebuild its got the steelies and the alloys rover seats x hair headlights its a beaut....geezer bought her for 800 and another i was lookin at was 995 so i think i did well

I would clean up the steelies polish the trims and put it on its arse if it was me mate....
If ya need help finishing the boarding out n setting up inside gimme a shout... have done a couple of camper refits now, and am a joiner/kitchen fitter by trade........

yea of course made by the same company i got the full kit for the polo for £210

these can look proper cool, zwitts has got a cool lookin one at the mo, bin the rims tho mate, ya can get all kinds of rims to fit these, them alloys are off a granada and are cack, u can bolt old merc rims straight on, old porka rims, ford rims, all sorts, easy to lower aswell apparently.

not sure on the offset ross, zwitts will know, i put old merc rims on one at work last week, but the bloke had spacers on the rear.

sounds like it has the golf1.6 motor in it then. which is good, coz if it does it's an easy job to throw a kr 16v in it lol The carb change will be from the pierberg 2e2 to the weber 32/34, which doesn't really add hp but it does make a dif to fuel consumption and removes the troublesome auto choke system.

sounds like a bargain, as long as it doesn't need much welding!!

2 tiny bit in the steps either side as u get in ....take me 2 minutes and a bit of bonnet to fix lol

yeah think they are mate, loads of different rims about, yeah he sold the golf and got a load of cool air-cooled stuff 53 beetle , the van, and i think thers a splitty on the way soon.

Jamie(wag) will be able to tell you more about the wheels n sizes on this....... he had an awesome t25 until about a year ago...

well someone point him in this direction then plz could use all the advice i can get
