The metal Machine

I though id start my build thread now things have started to pick up, i bought the van just over 6months ago. i want to do something thats just different from the norm. nothing too crazy mind.

this is what i bought the van like all them months ago.




after a few weeks i thought it was about time to do something to the old rusty silver wheels, so with as limited budget and an abundance of time (being a student) they they ended up like this.


got myself a badgeless grill as well


Then after a dodgy mot i had to chage the front lower wishbone mount which turned out to be a very easy job, and both the stock rear springs had broken, luckily i had some t4srus 60mm springs in the post. so she then ended up like this



i then came across aload of stickers which would do nicely


Had a play around with the tdi badge


it was time to start on the interior now. i got hold of a load of old viz mags so i had to out them to good use.



and also the ceiling


knocked up some curved wheel arches


oh and slapped a 1600watt vide sub in for a little extra fun with an alpine head unit.

the arches ended up like this


time to carpet now just waiting for the time to do it now.
also picked up an ike bed today for 40notes, and some heated saab leather seats for 20notes.

would look better if ya sell me your badgeless grill though...lol.

This is gonna look a beast when its done. Get it all carpeted, a bed in there, some nice ambient lights and another sub. Then slam it too the floor. That should do the job.

got some rims. going small and low, think they suit the van.
