If I was to aquire a set of early mk2 driver or gti clocks for my 1300 will I be able to make the rev counter work? If so how would I do this?

As far as I'm aware there just plug and play so should work

Yeah, normally plug and play - I got a set of early GL clocks with rev counter somewhere you can have for £10

Excellent, can u pm me contact details, il have them. The only fault my car has is the clock changes time overnight, n a rev counter is obviously much cooler! Will the digi clock still work?

Digital clock should work. Have dug them out and they are showing 111000 miles......
