pics are from iphone and i cant be assed so not very good lol..

got a few things to sort that ive found today , split inner cv boot on driver side and a weird noise on passenger front but only every now and then?? sounds like wheel bearing but could be cv joint im not sure... merc parts are cheap so would only be £50 to replace both parts any hooo...

once them sorted it needs lowering as it handles bouncey tbh, then some cheap merc wheels and tyres , then thats about it really as is me work horse... needs a remap though , this is the 112 cdi model which is 120bhp as standard i get get it remapped for £249 which will take it to 155bhp if i keep it as it is , but if i filter it , decat etc i can see over 165bhp and a better mpg whilst driving steady lol... it shifts now let alone with a few tweeks !!

not decided what im doing in the back , probably naff all other than a couple of seats..

also dont understand why merc did mirrors and door handles black but the bumpers grey??? and why the build quality is crap on vito's when they do there cars damn good and sprinter vans are bloody good aswell!!

nevermind , its blue , rather than red, or white which im sick of having lol

yeah it is a clean one mate thats why i picked it, looked at a few and they was all serious rot boxes, so when i found this and with it being the 120bhp 112cdi i had it , it has a few bits to do but i ordered a ball joint £15 , 2x antiroll bar drop links £13 , inner cv joint £20 , so hopefully if they all arrive in time ill get them sorted this weekend which will eliminate a knocking noise i have and the occasional drivetrain grumble to.......

but i also need a 100% reliable van which all my previous vans have been , but this today has proved not to be breaking down on me twice (not good when self employed!!)

has restarted and got me on my way but with not knowing these inside out like i do the vw cars and vans its a bit of a nightmare, merc forums arent the most helpfull of places as most assume you have £££££'s of free cash and just take it to the merc dealers....

so ill sort the noises , and run it for another week or two but if it keeps playing up ill sell it on once its got some wheels on as ive fitted it out with two skyline seats in the back and a 3/4 plybulkead behind that (pic at weekend)

i hope the engine problem goes away or is a cheap fix when i find out what it is as it does drive great, not the best on fuel but when its as quick as it is you cant complain, i had 110mph on a private runway on monday lol....

have done over 300 miles in it till it happened yesterday, it drove as normal the accelrating away got from 1st into second came on boost and edc light came on and died , reading on a benz forum its a couple of things to do with fuel pressure why it shuts down, could be an o ring on the fuel filter pipe (and looking this morning i can see an air bubble in the pipe so hoping it is that...) , or an injector problem which are expensive... so im gonna get a new filter and try and see how we go... been fine today though and ive done 60 miles.... popped to see munch today about some wheels, he's got some merc ones but tyres no good so i think i might just wait and get a set with ok tyres when they come up on ebay as they'd work out a bit more than id like to pay, and there only 16" and really want 17"s min

my mrs noticed that if you space the 'rn' away and the 't' at the end away it reads 'SLUT' lol.....

have been lucky with number plates being worth a few bob in the past, so if anyone knows a right dirt bag who'd love the plate 'SLUT' get her to contact me lol....

not had the breakdown problem this week but have had various drivetrain noises and these things are spose to eat cv joints due to the torque of the output so ive brought the other cv joints so all 4 (both inner and both outers) are going to get done this weekend, i fitted new drop links and the knocking from the suspension is still there bushes seem nice and tight so ill fit the ball oint ive got ready when the other drive shaft bits come and hopefully sounds will be good then......

fitted a diffo cd player last week too so i can plug my iphone in now , shame the standard merc peakers are shat...lol... not like the bose stuff you get in there cars then... (bit like the build quality) so might have to find out some better ones to bung in or get some rear crew cab area speakers in.....
