my boot just wont close you slam it down and look from inside it seems the hook isnt going far enoughe back to click closed iv got a feeling who ever put the boot on has fooked it up. it just wont click cloes if any one has any ideas or advise could they let me no cheers we all no how hard the ride is in the golf i cant go driving around with a open boot lol

When they sprayed the the boot, did they charge for fitting too? If so i would whip it back n have a word mate.

yes mate i think he did but personaly i dont think hes fitted it right when the boot lifts you you can push it up and it lifts about a inch summets just insnt right i dont think hes lined it up right i will ring him on monday and see what he says it cant be the lock cuz when you put it on when it isnt on the boot it clicks on fine its just when its on the boot eaver he hasnt lined it up right or its me being a stupid twat lol

iv found the rpoblem and now its just sorting it one side of the bbot there is a big gap and the other side its hitting the car and stopping the boot from going right down so im taking it bk to the garage so they can get it sorted

i ment bring it to you lol i got it done at pete jollands i mean his spraying is userly realy good and his machanics but his only helpers broke his collor bone the other week so is off work thats why i thnk my car got bodged bk to gether. trying to rush cuz i mean you can clearyl see its miles off one sides hitting before the other side even touches the rubber

haha i tighed it down the other night and thought ow ill go for a ride to coningsby i wondered why every one was looking got a big gust on wide and i look bk and i couldnt believe my eyes i have drove threw coningsby with my boot wide open lol
