My very first dub

just collected my car a few days ago its a mk2 1600 driver, so far its basicly standard apart from some audi quattro alloys, twin choke webber and a couple of subs in the boot,

plans so far are get a new set of coilovers and get it slammed

My lad has just turned 16, and he is on the lookout for a mk3 polo.

this is a wickid motor for only 350 quid. only problem is it need teh carb setting up cus its got a flat spot in the high rev's. just glad me and the guys convinded him not to get a rover lol

Cool first car - mine was a 1983 MG Metro that was inch and a half shorter on one side than the other and the engine blew up after 2 weeks!!!!

The rims are Ronals, think they were a standard fit on a 'Rocco in 14". Same design as Quatro, just smaller. Look cool too

Ahh! so now i no lol i got a ronal in the boot as a spare lol with a big ass 195 tyre on it! lol im after a space saver ta try nd loose a few pounds

rite then not updated this 4 a while and as the sun was shinig today thawt i may aswel make a start on puting a few of my newly aquired bits on!
brand new grill with black vw badge, an nice new lower eyebrow colour coded some like some dont but i do and iv not seen many about, the top eye brow will be coloured soon, fun horns Then i decided the air leek on the intake needed sorting so off kame the carb and suchlike, heres the progres so far this is the first time iv done anything like this on a car so wach this space it could turn out quite funny lol

wel today iv been fidling again ... trying to remove the remains of the wireing for a dodgy alarm that kep going off and as i riped the lower dash off i found a mass of tangled wires then got to cuting with the old wirer cutters and then realized there were weires going to all 4 doors wiped a door card off and found its got central locking!
it nologer works but all solenoids are ther so i just need to order a £17 kit off ebay and il have central locking .... that works! yay me iv also had a tidy under the engine bay painting various bits gona order a new carb flange in the next few days along with the central locking and a gti speedo pics posted later
