Thought it's about time i posted a proper topic really....
so here it was exactly how we bought it for £250 last summer...

was a bit tatty, so we set about sorting the front arches and touching the paint up. so it was at least looking semi presentable!

then, the friday before xmas a kind van driver stopped dead infront of Em to turn into a drive, this was the end result...

so i stripped it down, tore off the front end and bought some new panels.
got the rad and bonnet off tom's mk3 saloon and so now it's about ready to go back together. Unfotunatly when I fitted these...

I found a broken spring at the back. Which has given me the perfect excuse to get a cheap set of lowering springs to deck it a bit.
all thats left is to smooth the boot, repair one rust hole and put a new section on the end of the o/s chassis leg. then i can weld the front end on, wack a coat of satin black on and we have a runner!!
So not a lot to do really........
