bloody hell,i really need to post up some more pics,its now not completely standard!!! i ripped out the sony tape deck and have replaced i with a nice pioneer jobby,and with the itrip off smiggy,now plays my ipod! also,bit of a result,took the speaker grills off to find i have a full set of kenwoods on doors,all 4 doors!!!lol! engine bay looks a bit different,and new exhaust to get rid of the bean can will be on soon!

the baked bean can is now off n a more tasteful but alot quieter twin back box is on!! the big bore 10' is completely bolloxed, shook it a bit and the baffles are dust inside the can,completely destroyed,best place for it? THE BIN!!!! :lol also got some cool air feed to my induction kit. been busy polishing aswell,done he engine top and manifold just to see what sort of finish i could get and it dont look too bad! pics up soon,now off to nurse my skinned finger

well its time for an update. since i had the vr the steering wheel has never been very straight, always slighty down to the left when the wheels were straight. not thinking about it,i thought something was knocking on the front end so i took the wheel off to investigate and to my horror found the tyre was destroyed on the inside edge,so took it to lincs tyres in louth n £125 later i have 2 new front tyres and the tracking set up properly,and a straight steering wheel!! got my new exhaust sorted out then,alot quieter but when most of the insides fell out the big bore 10' its not surprising,dont think it had any baffles?! got rid of the standard cd player finally and got a pioneer off royston to go in,then found all my door speakers are kenwoods so thats a bonus!! oh and ive done a bit of polishing on my manifold and engine top,they arent perfect but they dont look too bad!

done a few minor bits to tidy up the rarr! blacked my badges front and rear,quick refurb on the solitudes,not intended to make them mint just to tiday them up a bit! got a new aerial,vibe 6x9's and wiper arm cover which are thanks to royston! my little mate karl came down n helped out big time with the rims. will post some new pics when i get time as im not online much at the mo due to the dog's op!

been stuck in over the last couple of weeks due to bonez having his knackers off,so had a bit of time to kill! firstly me n little karl decided to strip the bbs solitudes as they were killing my car,got all the flakey paint and bubbles etc sanded them down to nearly bare metal in a lot of places so it ended up being a bit of a twat to do! then i borrowed some paint off royston,dont worry i aint forgot i owe u a tin! decided to give the lips a bit of a shine and went with a gloss black finish,not black magic pearl or owt just gloss! obviously they aint perfect,i didnt take the tyres off to ge rid of all the kerbing,but i have tidied them up and the paint is nearly all good,couple of reactions but u live n learn and when i get more time or a spare set of rims then they will get nother hammering! also,got the badges off the back and front and sanded them down and glossed them black aswell. royston managed to find me a rear wiper arm cover to replace my smashed one,just missing that bloody tow eye cover now! got some new speakers in there aswell,again thanks to roy for those,he wanted retro for the polo,i needed some bounce so i can hear my choonz over the exhaust note lol! all in all a fairly productive couple of weeks,done a few little bits to the engine but thats far from done! also fixed the water problem,just a new header tank cap to srt that out!

thanks mate,i like the colour n all,especially when its had a good polish,it sparkles! wheels were just a quick fix,the prep took ages but i aint gone to town with the polishing,just enuff to get a bit of shine so my mate could put the paint on before he had to go back to mansfield!

long time again,well its got coilies,some sweet sounds,thanks to roy for the cables and falconer for the sweet sub/amp and acoustic shelf! but ive been toying with getting rid and i think it might be on the way,fingers crossed,same old sh*t different dub!

you not had it long, why you gonna get rid? what you gonna get next?

dunno yet lu,not sure whether i want something oldskool,or stick with the mk3's as i know them better than any other dub ive had! its not that i want rid,its ive been made an offer i cant refuse really! still i should be back in a dub of some sort after it goes,got it for a couple more weeks yet so still got time to enjoy itmand get hunting! inever keep my cars very long,in the past 5yrs i reckon ive gone through atleast 5 dubs,not including other cars ive had aswell,2 vrs,1 mk3 gti,1 mk2 valver/carbs and the pimpassat!

cheerz ady,i dont think i'll be out of a vr for too long tho! just hope it all goes to plan! fingers crossed! it wont be going too far,my mates having it so its gonna be getting a bit of dollar spent on it now,and he wants to get into all the events with us as part of the wold,even tho he is down south lol!

been out to do some tidying today,cleaned it in and out,sills the lot! gonna get some final pics of the beast soon,but each time i drive home it ends up covered in cow sh*t due to the farmers shifting all the tractors about,when its had a polish i will get some pics up,dont think ive got any with a few of the new bits on?!

love the Vr mate but i can see u getting a mk1. Oldskool!

i dunno mate,reckon i'll get another vr tbh,just a cheap basic one,but with less doors!!lol altho,a rado,a caddy or a decent mk2 valver could be on the cars,i dunno???? see whats about when it all goes thru!
