| I know Toms looking into this for me, but can anybody else shed some light on this for me... I'm in need of another gearbox for my 95 vento 2litre 8v, as the lowness got the better of it and made a hole  What other boxes will fit? I can only seem to find 16v boxes going for sale, are these rod linkage as well as my 8v? Also Tom said the input shaft is larger, so I may need a 16v clutch as well? I really wanna get this sorted as I need to sell the car, but got my eye on a nice rado..... | |

| That only applys to the old mk2s Adi. I left my notes at work but according to my clutch books the 8v Ventos and Golf mk3s have a 28 spline input shaft as do the 2.0 litre 16v ABFs meaning it should go straight on with out swapping clutches! Result! | |

| right then... did have a box sorted, but the fella emailed me and told me that the box turned out to be cracked and empty of oil, so fairl play to him, he didnt sell it to me. But I've just done a buy it now on a mk3 golf gti 8v box, so at least I know this'l fit! Hopefully gonna fetch it from norfolk on saturday afternoon  | |
