best stuff to keep a red car red?

as in polish etc etc not paint tho cant afford that!!

i reckon auto glym paint restorer and auto glym super resin polish works well. we sell it at work and use it on our vans tho so i just borrow some out of my sprinter cleanin kit

nice,was gonna try turtle wax colour magic,worked well on the vr black hopefully its good for red aswell!

meguairs restorer its a 2 stage aplication. Less course than T-cut etc. Then as a wax collinte paste or do do wax. Will give long last shine & uv protect .

if u want it sorting m8 glad to do her takes me 6-8 hrs. The products like above wouldnt bother. I got a interior cleaner now also.

5-8hrs bloody hell! i was gonna ask whats s good about dodo juice coz i saw it at players,in different colours and flavours,a tub like a hair gel pot was £34! bloke tried to sell me it buy saying thats what the show boys in the hanger are using!

like lupolo said last long time. Do-do has carnauba wax. Its a natural product. They give a extra shine plus help cover swirls.

cool. was wondering how u gauge the depth on the paint,is there a special tool? just curious is all,ive seen some detailing threads where the car has been scratched to fook by a car wash or something and the end results look beautiful!

yes mate paint depth gauge the guys use. For best results they use machine polisher. Its expensive but results are the dogs nads!

just been nosing thru a few of the detail threads on e38 and they do produce some amazing work! the results they can get when they do a car covered in swirls is superb! only wondered bout the paint depth as u can burn the laquer off quite easy id imagine with the polishing machine! u got any spare rado bonnets,wrong place to ask but hey ho! lol

yeah ur right dude finish item is amazing & yeah u can burn laquer & paint if depth is low. I aint got much rado gear mate . I use breakers called volksmine. Good service & price delivery service as well. Whatts up with ur bonnet mate

all my cleaning products are autogly, and i cant fault them, i use the autoglym bumper care on all my black bits and it works a treat. you'l see how clean my vento is on sunday

got some autoglym paint restorer today so hopefully give it the once over,then turtlewax i think,i prefer it to alot of others as it comes off easier! also the black colour magic to go over the bonnet with,hopefully will sort any dullness for the time being and a bit of protection from all this sunshine!!lol

ive been told that turtlewax has somethin in it that does somethin with autoglym cuz they use differnent ways to get the shine or summot

soon find out! lol there wont be any restorer left on the car and the polish is only a sealant,ive used some mixtures before that aint done any harm,fingers crossed its not this time they choose to react!lol

i find meguairs stuff the best, expensive but worth it
