| common on mk2s , corrado etc the vw front droplinks & bushes are prone to fail regularly, the rubber bush split s or droplink snaps. Lowered suspension increases this. Mine had done all of the above, Taken vw's advice & fitted poly bushes & uprated drop links today. Anyone else had this happen . Venom stock bushes etc | |

| Yeah mate u get better handling the rubber bushes flex under stress. The polyurethene are harder less give & last lot longer. Top suspension mount had failed as well. Wasnt cheap but should cope better than standard. Hoping rear holds out bit longer. | |

| I've heard they are a bitch to fit. My rear bottom arm bushes are a bit perished and was thinking about polyflex, how much are they? I bet the rears would be a bitch to fit | |

| front kit is a £145 bloody rip of. They are a snug fit mate on a 18yr old car had some major wire brushing to prep. Found if i fitted half way then removed & lubed em again made it easier. Yeah mate i reckon rears be pain to fit. If u low mate u may have to replace em. Fitted poly top mounts also it had fooked em. | |

| I run poly bushes on the Jetta - can't remember wot make tho, bought a full kit off the bay for about £45. Bottom arm rear bushes are a bit of a bitch to fit to old arms......much easier on a shiny new bottom arm (they're cheap enough from GSF).
Well worth doing though imo, tightens up the handling and gets rid of any vagueness in the steering. The Jetta will be getting poly rack mounts and also front crossmember mounts when it reappears.......
