| 1.9 8v kjet from a gti i was gunna restore. Have now fitted a kent cam and pulley to it. Also an ashley 4 branch and audi 2.2 throttle body with matching WUR. Spent today washing the bay of all the diesel oil then fitted new clutch and gearbox to the block. Gotta weld a repair panel where the clutch cable goes through the firewall(all mk1's do it) then i can drop the engine in | |

| Update time again lol well, i fitted the 1.9 8v in and had everything in other than the loom then.... I got offered my mates 16v donor car Think you know whats coming LOL! Yep,pulled the 1.9 back out and sold off all the tuning goodies to fund the caddys new heart. Its bin bloody cold lately and working outside aint fun. I now at the stage ready to pull the engine from the mk2, probs this weekend. Scrap the mk2 out the way then draw up my beloved caddy!!. In the meantime, i done abit of wheeling and dealing and after selling the VR i had, i've now got this..... Done a few bits to her so she now looks like this | |
