| Hi all Thought its about time i posted a project thread of my golf. It looked like this when i got it last July completely standard with 4x4 suspension Then a couple of months later come a set of Fk highsport coilovers Then it looked like this, excuse the big rubber donut tyres Then soon after the coilovers was on i had to get some 18's with a bit of stretch on the tyres. Have lowerd it another 10 mm on back and 5 on the front since this pic. After that i got a debadged grille but i still need to get the nasty bonnet and bumper inserts smoothed in, looks alright from a distance. Left the grille black so it would match the grilles in the bumper. Painted the calipers red Jobs already done. Coilovers Wheels Anti roll bar to clear drive shaft - well sort of lol painted calipers sprayed walnut trim in dash body colour Chrome rings around dials golf ball gear knob sharan rear smaller vw badge with the grey part sprayed body colour removed rear wiper aero wipers smoothed the in side of air box + KnN panel filter chrome recirculating dump valve wolfsburge number plate holders + german plate sometimes silver front indicator bulbs swapped my smoked side repeaters for clear ones off zwitts rear wheels spaced out 5mm + longer bolts dsg R32 intake pipe mod Jobs i plan to do. bit of a respary to get rid of all stone chips black roof de handle boot engine remap as close to 200 bhp as i can on the standard turbo front mount intercooler uprated brakes better flowing exhaust front and rear 4motion valance hubcentric spacers on the back wheels maybe 15mm All comments welcome. will add more pics.

| Thanks for the comments people. Yours didn't get invited Beese because your rear lights wouldn't fit in with the crew lol. Only the standard rear light squad allowed ;-) only joking dude, your golf looks wel tidy for the price | |

| Should be getting my R32 intake pipe and other bits needed when i got some cash, pretty soon hopefuly. Will have to take the front bumper, battery and headlight out to fit it and then just make the hole bigger in the air box and maybe get a pipercross panel filter this should make it more responsive and give it a better sound Apart from that i really need to give it a clean due to all the dust from work. | |

| Hi all just a quick update. got my R32 dsg air intake pipe and part behind headlight fitted the other week has made it feel bit more responsive and you can hear the turbo spinning up more pics of the difference in pipe size's. all fitted. Went to Bug jam at the weekend had a really good time and see some sweet Dub's. Then just got out of santa pod gate to come home 200 yards and bang clutch pedal went to the floor leaving a few bits of plastic and part of a metal bracket off the pedal on the floor, had a look and it was the bracket that holds the hydralic part to the pedal, Fooked! So rang for recovery and hour and half later this bloke turned up with a bed low enough to get my car on. Looking for my towing eye with a boot full of sh*t Group shot Nearly on. And this was the bumpy as fook ride home. better ride in the golf with coilovers than this thing. Made me laugh all the old bugs and campers driving past a broken down mk4 All fixed now and back on the road. Fitted a new pedal on Tuesday and what a mission of a job they are. Had to make a tool to compress the spring for the pedal, so if anyone wants one let me no! | |
