A while back my Polo 6N2 GTi rear wiper started wiping and wouldn't stop whatever you did to the switch. I disconnected the motor and just didn't use it for a while. A couple of weeks ago I reconnected it and nothing happened, then it suddenly went very hot and is now probably burnt out but I disconnected it again before it caught fire. Whats happened?

no idea but you should rip it out and bung it looks better IMO

I have thought about that but the wife doesn't see things the same way I do. She can't understand why I debadged my mk5 golf the day I picked it up!
