been a while,got a couple of little bits done,given the front grille a makeover,some smoked side repeaters just coz the orange ones looked sh*t. gave it a proper clean for ebay pics,not feeling it atm!

yeah man,they come of easily enuff they were clipped on to the grill,so gently prize em off from the back of grill, gently tho!!! i was going for the de-badged look but i dont like the actual de badged grille so this was next best thing n came out ok,s-line badge was about £3 off the bay, make sure u get plasticote paint for metal aswell, i tried with normal paint n it just dripped off. got some here if u wanna borrow a bit. its about £7 a tin but works well,i did my badges and a set of rims with one tin, the rims had loads of paint on n all lol!

Nice one mate, I am gonna do the front same as yours n gonna do the back rings black too. See how it looks. Tint the rear lights slightly and remove the 1.8t badge and the A3 badge. Taking it for a bit of a run today.

souns like a plan! give em a good rubbing down coz i think they are actually metal of some sort. will defo make ures look more aggressive! im thinking of hitting my rims today,got some paint so if its sunny i will sit in my yard n get started!what was the insurance like?

Gotta few ideas for it, just dont wanna spend a lot on it at the min, cause i am only keeping it till i find a good tdi caddy..

i thought about the chrome strip,but got the badge to tie in with it, had to have some chrome lol!not bad on insurance im looking!!!lol

Hmm, thats got me thinking about doing the 4 rings on mine.......
Already sorted a set of later back lights (same as the ones on yours) and was thinking what else to do to make it look a little different from the norm. Might have a go at it tomorrow.

is lookin good.....thinkin bout paintin my frnt badge...tried to get the fucker out yesterday and couldnt do it....also thinkin do i matt black it and the grill too match or do i gloss black the badge and then restore the grills wiv a bit of bumper shine?

paint saves fading in the future, i used my meguiars tyre black on all my plastics,works a treat!maybe satin black so not too dull but not gloss shiney?!

I only noticed yesterday that yours had them - the early ones have nasty orange indicator at the top....

ha ha bonus, yeah smiggy satin was better match to grille plastic n i tanted it to look as discreet as possible.
