hardcore's slammed on 9's mk2 8v!

j aint even got a thread so its lucky i take pics! as u know ady had it 1st of all then swapped with j for the mk1,j has then done a few little touches to get it looking his own! now with 9inch wide borbet a's,coilies,some mad stretch on his tyres and probably a load more other bits,recaro's etc etc but i will let him fill the blanks!

i like the idea of removing the black strip from around the back window and i need my black indicators for the front bumper they look so kuch better

yeah man it does make it look alot smoother! that rubber stuff mustbe a ballache to get off tho!

If you look at the second pic you can see the original red gti side stripe running parallel along the top of the side moulding.

will ask him,its not been washed in.... well......erm........ever!! nah joking but it aint had a wash in a while,i'll see if he has or if he took them off n lot u know!

hey jon easy to do your own to what ever colour you want mate.... heat gun and red insulation tape, (or pre cut viynil) and there you go... over your old bumper inserts and stanley knife em to perfection.... cheapo fix at gettin the look you want with out new bumpers or trims done it on many a mk4 rs turbo escort... and it works...

i'd change the lights back to oe, and black and reds on the rear

leave it then, just massive arch work to get it lower

I've just sourced my freshly re-built VR engine, with Crane cams and Power Engineering ported and polished head and chipped ECU, also comes complete with freshly built G/Box, subframe loom etc, the engine is also the fastest normally aspirated VR lump that Graham at "The Phirm" has driven, n that was in a boat of a mk3 at the time....

and it cost me fook all, well £450 inc everything....

i'm not payin for it bud, i'm paintin a mk1 bare-shell paint provided, so it's costin me a weekend work..... i just got offered it for cash 1st, then struck a deal for it to cost me nothin, bizzarely enough, i broke the PVW feature car it came out of and sold it to the lad previous, it had not long had the engine fully re-built (new chains/guides) etc, and had the G/box fully re-built, all done by The Phirm, hence me knowing so much about the lump and having spoke to them before, i know it was the fastest normally aspirated VR they'd drove....

after my scoob, the vr was like a 1litre fiesta!! i want another one!!! cant wait til u get it in j!!
