Hey Very Happy new to the forums, im from spilsby/boston/skegness area and this is my first project vee dub which ive been wanting to do for a very long time lol.

She looks pretty solid from the outside but some bad rust rear passenger floor pan and drivers side rear arch and other little things that need attending. These are photos when i first got her but about to be put on blocks now so ill get some more recentish photos up soon Smile

My overall sort of plan is to rat it out but old 50's matte black or pale blue style. Its already cambered and lowered slightly but i want it slammed haha. I like the wheels too but im tempted to swap them for some old school steels, moon eye hub caps with white wall on the tyres etc haha Razz.

Hallo mr jackoria Smile!

here are some more progress pics, got a lot done in the last few days Very Happy

Ive stripped her out, sanded all rust bubble patches down and took all the arches off to see if there was any more bad rust, but the worst only seems to be drivers side rear arch still.

This is the rust on the rear arch its really weak and looks loads worse on the inside, a lot is going to have to be cut away and patched. Ive started grinding down the metal for welding in the areas that just need plates put in ill get more pics up asap Smile

I don't often say this, but that green actually looks better than the orange, it makes all the bits on the car look that much better. Love the current wheel combination.
