is insured fully comp so they cant take it off ya so its 60 quid fine for no mot and bout 50 quid fine for no tax....i speak frm previous experience

beggars cant be choosers ....the other beetle i had im mind for the same money had no rear arches no engine or gearbox needed weldin and alot of it was in boxez....so this ones great and i got it locally too

gonna service all the brakes this mornin and look at me blowin exhaust ...all bein well that will be it for the mot next tuesday

whilst servicin the frnt brakes i discover big hole in frnt half off chassis that the anti roll barr mounts to....foned my m8 craig..he aint worried ....i am ...as for mot next tuesday seems admiral insurance wont cover me on the bug and have canccelled my policy a month off my years no claims so ive sh*t rite out....so gonna av to spend £65 on deposit for insurance ...which will av to next tuesday now, plus the weldin that is needed...gonna look at me blowin exhaust this afternoon
