fitted new head unit and amped up me speakers in van today...head unit is a touch screen dvd head unit ting

lookin good,where'd u get that head unit???

bought it off a mate for 40 snooch as the heads need cleanin...no matter to me that im just runnin it for ipod...plus today im gonna wire in a ps2 so if i fancy a dvd will run it thru that thru the screen .......think it may be tryin to play radio and ipod at same time atm will look at it in a bit

forgot to mention its touch screen dvd tv sat nav , think thats all it does

need to do some serious water proofin....wen it rains van dont like to run....well it runs then i think summin gets a bit wet coz it just all of a sudden dies then just comes alive again...sometimes needs droppin bk into 3rd but mostly just seems to come alive again......gonna stick a marigold over me dizzy

couldnt get a marigold wiv fat enuff fingers so im gonna av to go plan b and just leather owt electrical in wd40.....dizzy cap looks new and so do the plugs and leads but i do have a brand new dizzy in me shed and new plugs so i mite bang nother dizzy on see wot happens....definatly a rain problem tho drove lovely today ...no rain...fuckin van....but i love it.....starter motors soundin a bit slow too ...thinkin i mte be drainin the battery wiv this new head unit.......its only holdin its memory while off so how long does peeps think that the battery will hold charge for?

fuckin van was a rite dog last nite to get home frm work finally got her home and tried to figure out wot the problem is but to avail....me carb is doin some very strange stuff includin leakin fuel which aint goot.....mite go to CARWERKS today and get craig to take a look....also gonna matt black me 2 frnt grills and all badges

matt blacked me grilles and badges tidied the frnt end up no end and stripped all the carb down and cleaned it all out wiv wd40 and an airline....bashed it all bk togather and all seems fine atm but we will av to see

I think tintin the indicators would look good. Also deckin it of course.

soon as i get bk on me feet (startin a new job) im gonna buy the bad grip suspension pack frm east germany customs £225 delivered shocks and springs....smoked frnt winker are only bout 15 snooch a set so will get a set as ur rite would look the tits...thinnkin crystal cross hair headlights like me old t25.....also toyin wiv takin the bumpers off batterin em wiv a big hammer and then sandin 90% of the paint off em and rustin em......????

fitted new distributor cap and she seems to run loads nicer ...not that it ran wank in the first place....just every now and again......fitted a fusion 12" preamped sub and gonna rewire the 400 watt mutant amp i got runnin all me little speakers....so by end of today van will be thumpin...also fittin the ps2 today in the glove box

fitted all the fancy bits and bobs yea yea yea great....fuckin van wont start no spark....can anyone help wanted to go to the van jamboree tomoz

van fixed itself......?????????? cant figure it out

slowley but surely....got loads i want to do so plenty to add to this thread in time....also no doubt gonna av loadsa repairs along the way lol

van seems to be runnin lovely again since it fixed itself.....weathers not lookin good tho...as a rule it dont like the rain...i av fitted a new distributor cap which i think was the problem wiv the rain but we shall see

Check the wiring to the coil dude! You've probably got a dodgy connection. Which can be made. Worse in damp weather. Looking good though mate! Better than the last one that's for sure!

vans been runnin sweet so far this week which makes a change...only problem i have had is the throttle stickin yesterday mornin.....fook knows wot the reason was i leathered it all ijn wd40 and loosened it up

get a new throttle cable mate there not that expensive, cable probs gone dry or got kinked deep inside, bang an new one on and ok for donkies then, same with the mk2 golfs mate, heavy clutch, and throttle probs change to new chables and jobs a goodun. thinking about it i had a stiff throttle cable prob on my old bay window camper years ago, was the cable inside the sleeve had got water in and corroded up, that was a new cable job too.

worth trying as pedal should have a return spring and so should the carb so it can only be cable making it stick on??

sweet as it happens i reckon i got a new throttle cable for a type 25 in me shed i think

havent yet investigated throttle problem as it happened since ...so if it aint broke dont fix it....seem to av stopped me bus dyin in the rain anyhow wiv me new dizzy cap which is nice.....yesterday i added some width to me drive so i can get in and out better wen all the inconsiderate wankers on my street block my drive.....i've widened it that far tho...now its a double drive....im thinkin a project is needed

painted all me arches and bottom of me van in chalkboard to tidy the fucker up....looks like its had an arch kit on it
