| well its been bout a week since shes broke down so she was due it.....other day went to take the wife shoppin ..turn the key all lit up but nowt happenin no starter turnin or nuttin.....so out come me 3 and a half foot scaffold bar which i then proceeded to batter the starter motor wiv frm the driver rear wheel arch....she then started....so me bein me decided it was fixed then so left it and av been usin it since.....yesterday i had to get a tyre for the work van nipped into the local bin laden petrol station to fill up on way......gets bk to van and theres nowt.....quite alot of people tryin to get in behind me too....luckily i had me scaffold bar in van frm goin shoppin so it came again....got quite a few weird looks as im playin pool wiv me starter motor on a petrol station forecourt.....after a few whacks she was off......im thinkin bout rippin it off today and wd40'in the lot of it and then loadin it wiv oil.......will this help or am i just gonna fook it? or do i just need a new one? | |

| so im guessin its like that then......since i dint love ya local show gettin snubbed am i .....ur not worth the effort then are u.......except a few on ere most belong to the same family wiv ya 6 fingers and that....there ya go now i've alienated everyone....job done | |

i aint snubbed no one rarely come on and rarely look at these threds but would say by sounds of it new 1 way to go | |

nah lincolnshire is more webbed feet mate!! you need to sit back and chill a bit , just because no body replied to your post within 24hrs your kicking off and abusing everyone... great stuff and one of the reasons i dont come on here much as its so much the same day in day out..!!
you can strip and clean your starter motor , it may work it may not, dont fill it with oil as you will fook it more so.
and just for your information i was born in north london , grew up in stevenage and moved to lincs when i was twelve, so less of your 6 finger shi*e!!! | |

| the thing with starters is to just strip the solenoid as this is usually what sticks. just sand the solenoid slider to clear the rust off, same with the inside and then give it a good coat of cv grease and whack it back together. did it on my old cabby and it ran fine for a year till we took it off the road. even after standing for 6months it was still fine.

| if the 6 fingered thing has upset anyone must be the truth hurts in my eyes....wasnt directed at anyone in particular ...this whole site is 'scene' and i for one am sick of it and most of the people on it...thing is i tried another dub site too and they all have 6 fingers also....seems people buy the badge and think they cool ....but arent willin to let 'outsiders' into ur 'clicks' well fook off i couldnt give a toss ...im out fook 'the scene' fook dubs fook everyone......i just happen to drive a vw.....and a partin note for all of u.....check out all my project threads they are all some of the most viewed stuff on ere....tells u summin dont it | |
