here it is a few months ago when I rescued it covered in moss and looking like a swimming pool inside due to the sunroof seal being knackered , the woman who I got it from said it wont run, a new battery later and it runs fine

redid my rear wheel bearings last night and fitted a stainless exhaust as the old one was rotten, also had to renew the ISV as it kept stalling at junctions

just got my wheels sprayed up but the fucking wheel bearings gone again Evil or Very Mad the nuts not too tight but I reckon the rear callipers binding and heating up the disc over long journeys and then knackering the bearings

could be mate, have you checked that the stub axle is square? ive had them b4 when a bearings gone once , and then just keeps fukkin them cos the stubs worn? just a thought m8.

Ive got some spare stub axles but today ive changed the bearings and the calipers binding slightly and the handbrake cable knackered so hopefully it should be ok

vr6 it, which i always thought was a heavy old lump for a mk2, sound nice tho.
or what about a rebuild of your 8v, re-bored to a 1.9, or with a 2.0 block?
could be interestin?
