mk4 is twice as heavy as a mk2 tho mate, reckon 1.8t in a mk2 is a winning combo, so i hear anyways.

Ive stripped the engine down and found the big end bearings a bit worn and marked up so Im going to change them as well as the mains, Ill also fit a new oil pump and new engine gaskets but after getting a couple of quote all this lots gonna cost me about £400 so thats a bit more than I expected

The engines just about done now ill post a few photos when I get the chance, I found when renewing the main bearings someones fitted the wrong thrust bearings so no wonder the bloke selling it said it rattled but hopefully all should be ok.
Ive got some Recaros lined up so if anyone is interested Im gonna sell the Corrado interior
