Mk2 Golf

Bought the car 18 months ago and it originally looked like this:



I bought it as a non-runner with electrical gremlins at a bargain price.
Since then it has been through various sets of wheels, light and other various bits and bobs and will continue to do so.
The latest wheels being a familiar set of borbets off here.

thanks everyone , ..... yeh Ross it moves now it didnt to start put them on as soon as i got home and the arches just sat on the tyres, so had to un-seize my coilovers which hadnt been moved for an age and run it with the back in the sky for a week , got busy with the angle grinder on sat and now she stits just right with hardly any scrubbage

bonus mate glad they fit,sort of lol!! u had any ideas on wht ure doing with them?

been toying with the idea of painting the centers red but not sure yet .... a job for the winter maby aswell as geting everything else sorted interior ,engine etc..

It does look sweet with the borbs on, loving the stance.

i was gonna go that way,redo centers,but then i saw some at one of the shows,not keen after that. but that was red on a red car so i think it was too much!? good luck with it all!

Yea, this is real nice. Those black borbets really make it stand out, nice and deep too . Good job.

have been busy painting the borbets nearly done then just waiting for the weather to pick up









thinking of running some rear camber shims so i can have it a bit lower too but a bit unsure as its used daily and dont want to shred my tyres any quicker than normal does any one use them ?

ha ha yeah thats what the kitchen is for, or that is what i keep telling the mrs!!
No mate i cheated and bought some flat caps but think i am going to polish the nuts on the others and chop and change them.
Cant wait to get them back on the car but need to resist.
