My mk4 golf tdi

Hi all, ive recently bought myself a mk4 tdi,

heres how she was when i bought it



1 day later i saw some Lamboghini gallardo reps for sale on a vw forum

after putting them on realised it needed slamming so of i went to huddersfield and picked up some coilovers, had hell of a time with getting it right without the anti roll bar grinding on the driveshaft, but heres how she is now.





Pics arnt great but i will be treating her to a couple more nice bits and pieces the next couple weeks so will keep it posted, cheers

cheers, yes im keeping the lights as they are, i want to keep it as OEM as i can but with a phat stance.

you can get some adjustable droplinks for the front anti roll bar for about £40 so you can drop it some more, i brought a neuspeed anit roll bar for one of my old mk4's that i lowered on coilovers to avoid the issue.... but drop links would be a cheaper and easier to fit option lol!!

thats as low as im phisically able to go, the chassis scrapes the road quite often on these bumpy village roads. i have adjustable droplinks altho it still scrapes slightly on drivers side when thrashing it round a left hand bend, cheers for your comments

noo wasnt me! i went thru sheffield to pick some brakes up for my VR6 but didnt go to the ice rink, would of been sunday/monday when i went?

i paid £14 from ebay for em, mrs didn't like. so they are brand new... I want a tenner for em mate.

Looks really good! Alittle lower in my opinion would look better, but thats just me.
I had real bad driveshaft issues with my @Bora, especially as the V5 has a thicker driveshaft on one side, I tried adjustable droplinks but they ended up shearing in half lol
So, we cut my antiroll bar off! ~You may laugh, it may sound daft, but Ive been driving without one now for 2 years, no handling differences, no probs.
It really works! Many of the mk4 guys do it now
