| so after lurking around on here thought it was about time i got a bit more active with the local scene, so what better way to start then with a project thread bought it off ebay £630 84k on the clock, just needed new bushing sleeves and the tracking done pretty eventful drive back 95 vw polo L 1.3, no power steering, no central locking, Manuel windows but weirdly electric mirrors, and i absolutely love it but any way, heres some pics when i bought her and how it is today coilovers, 6n2 rears, de-wipered, de-badged grill, wheels next im thinking porsche | |

| I have an L model myself and thought it was a bit strange that you get nothing but leccy mirrors and a rev counter but hey ho. Just wondering how you de-wipered the rear on yours? I took the motor out and put a bung in the shaped plastic bit that sits on the window glass, but a few days later after banging the boot shut the plastic trim fell off, leaving a shaped cutout and a hole at the bottom of the window! | |

| i took everything out including the plastic but the bung would stick on and silicone'd the blank over it and seal it all up

| Ahh, when I did it I didnt realise the plastic bit wasn't secured, I thought it was already glued in or something. I'l just silicone it back on then | |

| unloaded the car from yesterdays show and noticed some bits cracked passenger side indicator crease in the passenger front wing tried to pill it out paint cracked and pealed all this to go on top of the little bit of welding it needs underneath starting to think it might be easy to get a newer one (same shape) in a nicer colour then just swap my bits over
