| Thought I better update this since its back on the road. It went off the road about three months ago as my seat cordoba gti was finally fixed but due to reliability issues its now sat back in the garden and the coupe is back. Just before it went for a bit the superlites were repainted in a bronze colour and took to the skegvegas show this when things went wrong as although their is loads of tread on them the sidewalls are chewed so RA's went back on. I still have the original bonnet and as soon as I source a bonnet bra to protect it from the amount of miles I do it will go back on instead of the ratty one Gave the engine bay bit of a clean since nature doesnt take long to get in Only recent update since its been back on the road are all red rears which look really smart | |

| New coupe S interior Drifting is gay! And finally tinted main beam lights not sure how legal this is, thats why I havent done the main headlights although cant see a problem as usually the police stop me for my lights not being yellow enough! | |

| Those Polo alloys that you refurbed look excellent, the first set I've seen that aren't just plain silver. They also look much nicer than the Minilites (but I'm not a minilite fan, so I'm probably bias on that score)
Lego dust caps ftw! | |

| Polo is now my new project as it wont pass an mot, mechanic who looked at it thought it was too low as gaiters were rubbing on things due to the messed up geometrey of it sat to low so it can sit in the garden covered up over winter then its engine transplant and suspension change once the ice clears so I can actually use my drive way again | |

| Its Alive!, Now the corrado is my daily and work is running out its time to play with the polo since its cheap and cheerful so will be updating regularly to keep a record as much as to show my terrible handiwork as this will be the first car Ive properly had to restore and rebuild and eventually want to go in a different direction to the rat it is now first things first, some of the bodywork is a bit of a mess and could use a tidy so on removing the plastic arch trim I found this And so the battle began to remove the wing, so much sealant holding the damn thing on! and as soon as it came off I had to do it all over again on the donor breadvan The new wing isnt so bad so had a coating of Krust to kill that then tomorrow it'll be time to start sanding back then thinking of rebuilding the shape of the wing with body filler, as buying a complete replacement seems like quite a task | |

| rebuilding that hole with filler is a REALLY bad idea. you'd be better off building it back up with wine gums! just weld a patch in or ring LA motors in Mablethorpe and see if they still stock new wings, I got some for a mk2 golf for £15 each!!
oh and sell me those wheels haha

| They're number is on here in the traders section I think. They're pattern parts but I had no trouble with the fitment of the wings I bought for a mk2, couldn't even tell and they come in black primer so ready for paint. | |

| A big thankyou Tom as windleys did have a wing and its the first polo wing ive had in a long time without holes in it!
Windleys wasn't too expensive imo only cost £24 for the wing two clips for mk3 golf headlights and the radiator brackets for my polo, and I managed to forget I was wearing the hi-viz jacket they gave me till I got home so got that too lol
