| You dont need a crane! Imo best way to get a lump out of a mk2 or 3 is to unbolt the front end, can be done in 20mins and then just wheel the lump out on a skateboard n trolley jack. Gives you loads more room too! | |

just the spoiler , and springs to go on, and a de-badged grill, and ally plates when i got more money to play with. its had a lot dont to it iv changed all the int i.e seats cards the plastic kick plates p shelf iv also got a letterbox backbox to got on but its needs a pipe adding to it to make it fit so that will have to wait for now but not to long ![Very Happy](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png)

lol you say that like you have done it before Funnily enough I haven't removed an engine out of a golf this way (but have other cars), but I have taken the front end off a mk2 and a mk3 before. Both very similar, front bumper off, grille off, unplug/unhose the radiator, unplug headlights, then just unbolt the whole front slam panel with the radiator and headlights still attached. You'l be amazed how easily you can wheel an engine out then, and no need for a crane ![Cool](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_cool.gif)

| well dont put the adjusters in just sit em on the springs as ull get a horrible noise everytime u hit a bump as ur shocks will stretch a hell of a way more than ur springs
(same ones i had on my mk3 8v lol) |
