Been a while since i owned a Bug , Got this as a donor seats , Engine brakes are good but the shell is rottern . i have another rolling shell that is 100% solid, plan is a full resto over the next year will update as i proceed with the build.This Is the Donor looks ok but hides rot & filler

Yeah man they are so much fun , dropping the Engine tmrw I hope, apart from replacing the odd gasket I'm only gonna clean it up & a give it a lick of paint. 1641 conversion would be nice but ain't gonna happen.

Yeah paintwork looks ok until your near car , it's a shame the shell is so rotten, had few hrs stripping out the yellow bugs interior & electrics etc, got another 12 bolts to remove then can lift of the old shell. Hoping to repaint chassis this week & send of few bits for powder coating .
