| i take it you wont be runnin it on 195/65/15s? 195/45s are ideal on a mk2 on 15s, but with ya big arches id go for 50s. | |

| yer my old golf was slammed had 80mm drop springs wasnt low enough so took the angle grinder to the springs and cut 2 coils off all round so reckon it was between 100-120 mm drop and dint seem to have any camber on the back, its jst for looks really as its only a 1300 so wont be worth puttin it on track but all my cars do get driven hard. | |

are you trying to sugest that the REAR has negative camber on it becuase you have lowerd it tom? You do realise that it is a fixed axle... and the only way to increase camber is to remove the stubs and fit camber plates?

You do realise that it is a fixed axle... and the only way to increase camber is to remove the stubs and fit camber plates? Yer found some of those camber plates on potn.com but just wondered if anyone used them or know anything about them, you just unbolt the stub axle n they sit beween the stub axle and beam

I'd guess a Golf has a lil bit of neggie at both ends as well as most other newer cars. My old Triumph had positive camber as standard and handled like a greased pig and it was IRS and lowered a fair bit!

It was some engineering place at sleaford, i dint get em done Nick at coningsby had em done but i got em off him fairly cheap and i dint really fancy stacking spacers up to get the right width on the rear
