Personally I think that could be a good buy, obviously depending on price. The guy seems to know a little bit about motors. I would want. Look at the front end before I bought tbh, unless it goes cheap.

No worries, had a few mk1's myself and currently have a mk1 cabby. Highly recommend em fir a bit of fun at the weekends.
