im not worried ......yet lol.... only needin some weldin a tie rod end or 2 and a new bk box....i will av to see wot i can beg

they are common problems on beetles Cotney, ya right to expect sh*t like this..lol
It still looks a decent buy and in good condition.. anyone who buys a beetle should get a free welder as part of the sale..... My last one was a convertible, the body was solid and mainly rot free....

my last bug was full of holes!!, and then after i welded them for the mot more holes appeared!! , great cars with lots of character, i love em but wouldnt use one as a daily driver just for a bit of fun, (there not comfortable and there death traps! no way id transport mrs and kids about in one!!)...

exhausts (most parts) are cheap, you used to be able to get a kadron exhaust for a bout £35 which would sound alot better and replace the pea shooters!!,

some of us dont have the option to have a daily and a toy so they deathtrap bit i'll just av to live with and if the wife and kids meet an unfortunate end then......well......im failin to find a bad point....im only gonna build it mot it drive it for a bit sell or trade it for another t25 with mot.....as for the spares falconer m8 i only lookin for a left hand frnt shocker and wing as it stands....ordered the monza 4 tip zorst frm just kampers this mornin

also to add would seem that the entire driver side heater channel is bolloxed

had a go at removin the rot frm the driver side heater channel

after that decided to modify the bumpers to sit closer to the car

sold me xbox finally so i can now buy a new zorst for her and tomoz im gonna lower the arse end and chop the frnt ....not goin extreme just a little lower ..... will buy springs for her b4 mot tis not a problem

Mine was definately not a deathtrap... I would have gone anywhere in it... you can never really go fast enough to do a lot of damage in a beetle and mine was the 1.6 with twin kadrons... My daughter loved it, but my sone was about 13 when i had my ast beetle and was embarrrased to hell to be seen in it....lol

lmao @ smigg my kids love it too mate they are only 3 and 4 so dont know to feel the embarrasment of drivin round in one of my sheds lol

gonna lower her today and finish choppin out the driver side heater channel then she will be eady for weldin...ordered a standard exhaust off ebay (second hand) basically coz it was cheaper but was advised the monza 4 tip ting i was gonna buy sounds gash....hopefully get weldin started this week comin...my mate terry is bringin some sh*t to polish me pulleys and sh*t in the engine bay to tidy her up there too

gggggggggrrrrrrr....not my day today ....found another hole in exhaust system (before the rear silencer) and couldnt undo the bolts round the torsion bar to adjust rear ride height luckily i hadnt chopped frnt springs yet and to top it all off terrence has lost the chuck for his drill so we dint polish owt.....so all in all we got fook all done

now today i am mostly gonna be doin.....fook all got loads to do but no cash to do it with....roll on tomoz...cant wait for this exhaust and sheet metal to turn up so i can get this thing welded up....i wanna drive it soooooo bad.....just to keep meself occupied think i mite go wipe down all the plastic and vinyl in the interior (hoovered it out the other day) then i really am stuck for summin to do

new wings dont fit ....gutted never mind will have to see if i can trade em on...got given to new heat exchangers (second hand) so that saved some expense.....off for weldin tomoz....how im gonna get her there is another matter

rite bk frm gettin the weldin done....well i say done ....the first piece is done...a little more then expected but not a massive amount rick and craig aint worried yet so neither am i altho as they were bashin holes in me baby i was gettin a bit pics to follow of the rest of the damage and a nice patch piccie for ya all
