Well after the drive back from the meet on sunday i decided that after only havin it on the road a week its way too slow so ripped the engine out yesterday

Done a few of them now so dont take long at all,

Had it sat in the shed for few weeks but after drivin back from the meet on sunday i didnt quite realise how slow it was and as i was made redundant on friday got a while to get it sorted

Yer its the 1.8 16v kr out a mk2 golf

Its goin injection for now cant afford r1 carbs yet, just waiting for one of my mates to come and wire the fuel pump up then its all go.

Yer have been fairly busy but now ive been made redundant got a bit of time to do a bit more to it till i find another job. The only thing that lets it down is the bodywork but a respray will sort that wen i can afford it.

No not yet having few probs tryin to wire the fuel pump up as the loom is from an early spec mk2 but wont be too long got a mate who is good with electrical stuff lookin at it

Well going to try but its hard because i cant find any wiring diagrams for late spec kr anywhere, my mates been over tonight and looked, reckons he should be able to sort it but its going to be a rite pain in the arse, dont help that gsf gave me the wrong fuel pump relay either

Well finally getting somewhere got me head round the wiring for the pump a trip to the stealers and £23 later, jst got couple of bits arriving in the post this week n itll be running by end of the week

Tom still got the engine but the weber has gone off it and the box is hopefully being picked up later on this week, but if you want the engine ive got a set of cbr600 carbs which i was gonna put on i can include?

Stoker the cage isnt the best but your welcome to come have a look was just going to scrap it otherwise

Heres a few pics a the cage, if you could get it sandblasted and powdercoated i think it would look alrite, the only thing is where its been bent on the hoop the inside is creased slightly
