| this is what it looked like when i first got it (abit of a rat ) this is what the boot was like when it was half done what it looks like now this is what it looked like this is what it looks like now thats my changes so far but soon it will have all the rust taken out and sprayed whole set of new tyres thw wheels referbed the windows blacked out and best of all the bonnet will be going and a carbon fibre one will be going on so thats about it keeo watching as i keep modding the mk3 | |

| yer they are my christmas prez from my mum so she wont let me have them yet . i have just brought some sub frames for them they dont come cheap for what they are | |

yer depending on how much money i have left at the time i might strip the bk seats and get it all done proply and i fancy a roll cage but nothing is decided yet | |

| i was looking on ed38 and i found a piccy of a mk3 golf with the mk4 golf front end on does any one no how easy it would be to do this or would it be a right t/w/a/t . if its not to hard might take a trip to winleys to see what mk4 they have in as the car is getting a full respray they might aswell do the mk4 end aswell | |

| I'd say there is a lot of really hard chopping about and lining up to do to get any sort of decent panel fit to do, bet no one on pee 38 will tell you how its done either. Me and chimp saw a rado at Hareward House this year and I think its had a MK4 front on it I think, only it was awful. Really bodged on. Bit like mini flip fronts... | |

| on ed38 i was reading about it and they are saying i need a later mk3 cab front end because they where up granded to a mk4 front and end the panel are supposet to fit stright on but on ed38 i dont think they have a clue what they are doing | |

| no offence to peee38 mate,but they tend to pay this bloke to do that or that bloke to do this,its all bout the benjamins(money) u do need bits from the cabriolet i think,but they dont just bolt straight up as the wings need modifying and the u need the front slam panel,radiator,mounting's for radiator etc etc,best person to speak to is hardcore if u can catch him on here,he will be able to tell u better than anyone as he is doing one at very soon and has all the bits to do it already! | |

| yer i have found that on peee38. yer i will haft to have a chat with him about it but to tell you the truth i cant realy see the mk4 front end on my mk3 i dont no if it would look right on it and. i do realy want to save up for a rocko. the mk3 oready hold me at 2000 so dont realy want to be spending much moor on it | |

| lol powerhouse my moped had moor power. yer the 2.0 8v does sound good but iv been looking at a vr6 lol i think im dreaming a littel. iv got to get all the rust done and sorted out then i might go for a bigger engine. is the 2.0 8v gti a reliable engine | |
